Fridays For Future: The latest #ClimateStrike counted over 7 million demonstrators in 157 countries.

Fridays For Future: l'ultimo #ClimateStrike ha contato oltre 7 milioni di manifestanti in 157 paesi.
Today, March 19, 2021, the Fridays For Future climate strike returns.

How was the FFF movement born?
On August 20, 2018, Greta Thunberg decides not to go to school until September 9, the date of the Swedish elections, to ask the government to respect the Paris agreements on CO2 emissions reductions. After the polls, Greta goes back to school but the protest does not stop: every Friday she goes on strike for the climate. It is the beginning of Fridays For Future.

What are the objectives of the movement?
Fridays For Future aims, first of all, to keep attention on the issue of climate change. Specifically, it asks governments to eliminate fossil fuels, eliminating emissions globally by 2050 (in Italy by 2030).

How does the strike work and who participates?
The protests are peaceful and exclude violent actions or reactions. These are interventions planned by highly trained people, in order to exclude the risk of clashes or accidents, given the presence of minors. In fact, the strike is aimed specifically at students, but everyone can participate!
Given the historical period we are going through, the Italian movement of Fridays For Future asks to participate in the event in compliance with the rules necessary for the safety of all:
1. Keep the meter away.
2. Put on the mask.
3. Follow the organizers' instructions.
